Meet Ember. A peanut butter loving, kiss giving, beautiful, fun, and silly girl.
Ember came to our attention because she needed FHO surgery from her hip being out of place. Her surgery went well and Ember is in the process of hydrotherapy. Ember is using her leg more and more, but still holds it up as she is retraining her brain to using it. This does not hold her back or slow her down in the slightest however, and she is ready to play in a moments notice.
Ember is a very happy outgoing girl who loves to play and also appreciates time to curl up on the couch and sleep. She adores her people and is very affectionate! Ember already knows how to sit and her favorite words in the world are "Treat" and "Outside". She is learning how to walk on a leash, and it is clear she hasn't had much experience. But, she is regularly walked twice a day now, so we are working on that. Ember loves a good car ride, and loves to go to Camp Happy Hound to play with all of her furiends!
Ember is looking for a family that is willing to both play and hang out together. She would also love a brother or sister doggo to play with. Ember is a sweet loving girl and is a great example of how pits are great breeds to own.
